These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Almost Senior. Please read them before you use the service. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. Who we are
Almost Senior (the "service") is run by Vladislav Pavlenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia, identification number 302343079, registered address 179 David Aghmashenebeli Avenue, floor 3, apartment 8, Didube district, Tbilisi, Georgia ("we", "us").
Support: [email protected]
Privacy questions: [email protected]
The service lives at almost-senior.lol and app.almost-senior.lol.
2. What the service does
Almost Senior is software for job seekers. It lets you:
browse a free feed of IT vacancies collected from public sources (section 9);
see an estimated match between your CV and a vacancy, and a check of how screening software (ATS) may read your CV;
write and edit a CV in the builder and download it as a PDF;
ask an AI model to read your CV file into the builder, to adapt your CV to a vacancy, and to draft a cover letter;
track your applications.
What we are not. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency or a job board for employers. We don't place job ads, we don't take money from employers, and we don't send your CV to anyone. You apply yourself, on the employer's site.
3. What we don't promise
No job outcome. We don't promise interviews, offers, or that your CV will pass an employer's screening software.
The ATS check is an estimate. It is calculated by our own rules from your CV and the vacancy text. They help you choose; they are not a judgement about you, and we don't share them with employers.
AI makes mistakes. The model can misread your CV, word things badly, or add something that isn't true, even though we instruct it not to invent facts. You must read and correct everything before you send it. What you send to an employer is your responsibility.
Vacancies may be wrong or out of date. They come from third parties. Check the details and the closing date on the original page.
No guaranteed uptime. We work to keep the service running, but it may be unavailable, slow, or change. We give no service-level guarantee.
4. Your account
You can use the feed and the builder without an account. To save your work, adapt CVs, write letters or track applications, you need an account. You sign in with a one-time email code or link, a password, or Google.
Age. You must be at least 16 to use the service. To buy a paid plan you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
Give a real email address you control. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
One person, one account. Don't create extra accounts to get around limits.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Data. Deletion is permanent (see the Privacy Policy).
5. Fair use
Use the service for your own job search. You must not:
access the service with bots, scrapers, crawlers or scripts, or call our API other than through our app;
copy, collect or republish the vacancy feed or any part of it, or harvest contact details from it;
resell, rent out or sublicense the service or its output as a service to others, or use it as a back end for your own product;
go around limits, security checks (including the browser check) or payment;
try to extract our prompts or model settings, or feed the model instructions meant to misuse it;
upload someone else's CV or personal data without their permission;
upload malware, or content that is illegal or infringes someone's rights;
use the service to deceive employers, for example by inventing experience or qualifications;
disrupt the service or other users.
Helping a friend or a client with their own CV is fine as long as they agreed to it and you don't run it as an automated service.
If you break these rules we may limit, suspend or close your account. Unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can contest the decision by writing to [email protected].
6. Plans and payment
Junior is free, with no time limit. It includes the feed, the builder with all templates, PDF download (without a mark in three templates of your choice), the application tracker, an ATS check for ten vacancies, and a few AI actions each calendar month (reading a CV file, adapting a CV, writing a letter).
Senior is paid. It raises the AI limits for every 30 days. It is a monthly subscription. The exact limits and prices are on the pricing page and in the app. At launch: $5 a month, VAT included; up to 60 CV adaptations, 150 cover letters and 20 CV readings per 30 days.
Prices are in US dollars and already include VAT or sales tax: the amount on the pricing page is the amount you pay.
Fair-use limits on Senior. To keep the service working for everyone, if the AI cost of your usage over 30 days becomes unusually high, adaptations and letters don't stop but slow down to a few a day until the 30 days are over. The app shows it when this applies.
Failed AI attempts don't count against your limits. Without an account you can read a CV file into the builder a few times; after that you need to sign in.
Who sells it to you. Senior is sold through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our authorised reseller and merchant of record. When you buy, your purchase contract is with Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms; the service itself is provided by us under these terms. Paddle takes the payment, pays the sales tax or VAT included in the price, sends receipts, and handles billing questions, cancellations and refunds. We never see your full card details.
Where it's available. You can buy Senior only where Paddle sells. Paddle doesn't accept purchases made from some places, including Russia, Belarus and the occupied regions of Ukraine. Please don't try to get around this, for example with a VPN or someone else's address. Junior stays available everywhere we operate.
Monthly subscription. It renews automatically every month, and Paddle charges the payment method you used until you cancel. Before you pay, the checkout shows the price, the period and that it renews.
Cancelling a subscription. Cancel at any time in Settings → Plan and billing, which opens Paddle's customer portal, or from the link in your Paddle receipt. Senior stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again.
Price changes. If we change the price of the subscription, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price. If you don't want to continue, cancel before that date.
Refunds. See the Refund Policy. In short: a full refund within 14 days of any payment, no questions asked.
Starting right away. Senior starts as soon as you pay. Because you can ask for a full refund within 14 days (see the Refund Policy), starting right away doesn't cost you the right to withdraw if you live in the EU or the UK. Your other consumer rights stay.
When Senior ends. You keep everything you made, and your data stays. Only the AI limits go back to Junior's.
7. Your content
"Your content" is what you put into the service: CVs, vacancies you add, notes, settings, and what the service produces for you from them (adapted CVs, cover letters).
It stays yours. We claim no ownership.
Permission we need. You allow us to store, copy, process and display your content, and to send it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy (for example the AI model provider or the PDF service), only to provide the service to you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which disappear on their normal schedule.
No training. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we route AI requests only to providers that don't train on them or keep them (see the Privacy Policy).
You confirm you have the right to upload your content, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights.
AI output. As far as we have any rights in the CVs and letters the service generates for you, you may use them freely for your own job search.
8. Our service and brand
The software, design, templates, texts and the Almost Senior name belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. CVs you make with our templates are yours to send to employers.
9. Vacancies from third parties
The feed shows vacancies published by employers and others on public sources, such as employers' own hiring pages (their applicant tracking systems), company career pages and public Telegram channels. Each vacancy links to its original.
We don't write, check or endorse vacancies, and we are not party to anything between you and an employer.
We remove personal contact details of recruiters and other people from vacancy texts when we collect them. Without an account, you see vacancies without links to the original and without contacts.
The feed is free for job seekers. Employers can't pay to appear in it.
Complaints and takedown. If you are a rights holder, an employer or a person named in a vacancy and want something corrected or removed, or if a vacancy looks fake or fraudulent, write to [email protected] with a link to the vacancy and what is wrong. We aim to act within 72 hours and will tell you what we did.
10. Liability
We provide the service "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond what these terms say.
We are not liable for: decisions employers make; content of third-party vacancies or sites; mistakes in AI output that you sent without checking; losses you could have avoided by checking or exporting your data; indirect losses such as lost earnings or opportunities.
Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or intent. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. If you have a subscription, cancel it as well (section 6); deleting your account also cancels your subscription.
We may close the service or your account with at least 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of section 5. If we close a paid plan for a reason that isn't your fault, you get a refund for the unused part.
Before we close the service, we'll give you time to export your data.
12. Changes to the service and these terms
We improve the service, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service and cancel before then; we'll refund any prepaid period that runs past the change date. Small fixes (typos, clarifications, new contact details) may take effect right away.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia.
Disputes go to the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia.
If you are a consumer living in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer protection, you keep the protection of your country's mandatory law and can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Please write to [email protected] first. Most problems are solved faster that way.
14. Other
If a part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
If we don't enforce a term right away, we don't give it up.
You may not transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer it to a business that takes over the service, and will tell you in advance; your rights don't get worse because of it.
These terms are written in English. The Russian version is a translation for convenience; if they differ, the English text applies.
