The paid plan of Almost Senior, Senior, is sold through Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes payments and makes refunds. This page says what we promise; Paddle carries it out.
When you get your money back
Within 14 days, no questions asked. You get a full refund of any payment for Senior (a monthly payment or a renewal) if you ask within 14 days of that payment. You don't need to give a reason.
How to ask
Use one of these:
the link in your Paddle receipt email, or paddle.net;
Settings → Plan and billing in the app, which opens Paddle's customer portal;
email [email protected] from your account email with the date of the payment. We'll check the conditions above and pass it to Paddle.
What happens next
The money goes back to the payment method you used. How fast it shows up depends on your bank or card issuer.
Senior ends when the refund is made, and your account goes back to the free Junior plan. Your CVs and other data stay.
A refunded subscription is cancelled and won't renew.
Cancelling without a refund
You can cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → Plan and billing or through Paddle. Senior stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again. Cancelling on its own doesn't give money back.
Other cases
We also refund:
if the paid features didn't work because of a problem on our side and we couldn't fix it — the period affected;
if we close the paid plan or your account for a reason that isn't your fault — the unused part.
Your legal rights
If you live in the EU or the UK, consumer law gives you the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. Senior starts as soon as you pay. Our 14-day refund above is at least as generous as the right to withdraw, so using Senior doesn't cost you that right.
Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy also apply to your purchase. Nothing on this page takes away rights the law gives you where you live.
